You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.

You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.

A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.

Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.

Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

Your Mind is 79% Cluttered

Your mind is quite cluttered. And like most clutter, it's a bunch of crap you don't need.

Try writing down your worst problems and fears. And then put them out of your mind for a while.

How Cluttered is Your Mind?

...

And then it just kept on going.... I actually took a lot more tests... but I'm afraid this post will get a little long...

What I think about the CFAwards

Many of batch 2010 know about the new blog that was put up a few days ago. It goes under the title "The Class Funds Awards." Basically what happened was a group of incredibly bored, insensitive guys conducted a survey on who the most beautiful girls in the batch were. So, they go around asking 50 "random" boys (from Sodium and the back lobby) to tell them who they think are the most beautiful girls in the batch, by rating each girl 1-5.

Now I've heard a lot of discussions about the site and I've heard a lot of opinions about it. All of the girls I know either completely HATE the site or don't like it at all, most guys dont give a damn, and others, myself included, are utterly disgusted.

Why, you ask?

As a wise someone once said: "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." I find this saying competely true. Beauty is a relative thing. It's not just how attractive a girl LOOKS, it's everything about the girl, from her personality, to the way she thinks. It's NOT something that can be rated objectively, because everyone sees everyone else differently from the next person.

And besides, when a person begins to rate another person by their looks, or anyting about them for that matter, it doesn't prove how much you like the person: it proves how much you DON'T CARE about the person. Because once you give someone a rating, you show that you don't treat them as a human being, but as something lower, something 2D: without enough depth that you can actually order them objectively just by getting 50 "random" guys and asking them them to rate every girl in the batch in terms of physical appearance.

I don't know what those guys wanted to accomplish anyway. I mean, HELLO?!?!? What are you guys trying to prove? That your crush is better than the next person's?!?! As far as I can tell, the only thing you were able to do was broadcast the FULL names of the "20 most beautiful and attractive girls in Pisay" to the entire WORLD, including, might I add, every single psycho on the internet who decides to search "Beautiful girls" on google.

And those guys actually have the nerve to tell people that "This survey may not tell the truth. So don't take it srsly" WHAT THE HELL, GUYS?!?! IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE TO TAKE THE F*CKING THING SERIOUSLY, AND YOU KNOW THAT IT'S INACCURATE, WHY POST IT ON THE INTERNET IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!?!?! HECK, WHY EVEN CONDUCT THE SURVEY AT ALL?!?!?!?

Moving on, it's bad enough to rank people like that, but what really PISSED ME OFF was this comment on a classmate's blog:

We recognized the top 20 females in the batch according to beauty.
Other random boys in the batch rated the girls from 1 - 5

1 - lowest

5 - highest

The average = total score/x (no. of raters)

The top 20 is shown

The other 54.... scrap
WHAT. THE. FUCK. It's bad enough to actually rate these girls, but to call EVERY SINGLE ONE of the "losers" scrap, that is just THE MOST insensitive, insulting, tactless, imprudent, thoughtless, boorish, discourteous, maladroit, disrespectful, offensive thing you could POSSIBLY say. Seriously, xfacekillahcrossx, DO YOU HAVE A HEART?!?!?!

Sigh...

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO RESPECT?!?!

God dammit.

ED
IT: Apparently, the CFAwards blog was taken down yesterday. I guess a lot of people are happy. I sure am.

And another one...

Because of a very bad case of writer's block, I'm having a very hard time writing my stories... and I really need to post here since this is required for my Com Sci grade...

Oh well. Guess who I got this from.
INTP: The Egghead

The typical INTP is a logical, abstract thinker whose intellect is ideally suited to understanding pure mathematics, linguistics, formal logic theory, and other pursuits unsuited to making a real living. The INTP can often understand even the most subtle nuances of lattice quantum chromodynamics, but cannot perform more concrete tasks such as dressing himself, operating a motor vehicle, or opening a door. An INTP may be able to tell you how to construct a nuclear reactor from a coconut and two pieces of string, but may be completely incapable of fixing a hole in a boat.

The INTP is really only suited to two careers: college professor and game show contestant. Of these career choices, only one offers the financial rewards which allows him to suport himself; for that reason, INTPs often take the other path, and become tenured academics.

RECREATION: Surprisingly, INTPs are often the hit of the party--not for their sometimes annoying habit of turning every discussion into a debate about semantics nor for their fascinating stories about Pierre de Fermat's habit of writing things in the margins of his books, but for the fact that they often show up with their pants on backwards and that if you put a Post-It note reading "Kick Me" on an INTP's back, he won't notice it no matter how many people kick him. That kind of entertainment never gets old.

COMPATIBILITY: INTPs make ideal companions to INTJs, as neither of them notices they're in a relationship. (LOL)

Famous INTPs include Pierre de Fermat and almost everyone who knows what Pierre de Fermat wrote in the margins of his book.

*     *     *

I was actually too lazy to take the test again so I just used the results I got from the test I posted before. Hahaha.

Yet Another Personality Test...

Got another one from Mickey.

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education:

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Overall. I think this is a pretty accurate test, although I don't know about the parts about romantic relationships since I don't have much experience there. But seriously, I'm not sure if my advice is that good. Sometimes, when someone asks me for advice, I answer a different question that what was asked of me or I answer in a "different" way that what that person is looking for. Oh well.

It's About Time... (To be Edited)

It's about time I posted something besides personality test results. Aanyway, we had our batch retreat last Friday to Sunday and I really enjoyed it. Come on, who wouldn't enjoy spending a weekend with friends? And even though I'm not very religious anymore, I still listened during the talks, since they also contained pretty good advice for life in general.

Here's the day-by-day summary:

Day 1 (Friday):
First day and I was really excited. I arrived at Pisay at around 11:00 when there weren't many people yet and just hung out with TJ and company. By 11:45 there were already a lot of people in the front lobby and all we had to do left was wait until we could board the bus. From here on I lost track of the time for some reason.

Potassium spent the long bus ride with Sodium. On the way, we watched Zohan, and honestly, some of the jokes were really funny but it was basically stereotipical american humor-- meaning most of it was just plain stupid. Anyway, I saw that there was quite a bit of racism in the movie, which, might I add, I hate. After Zohan ended, we watched Mama Mia. I was distracted by a headache and wasn't able to pay much attention to the movie, so I just spent the time practicing psionics with James, who was sitting next to me. We figured out that day that it is possible to get rid of headaches with psionics, and possibly transfer them to someone else. Don't worry: we found that out by accident. Hehehe.

Anyway, we got to Angel's Hills in Tagaytay at around 4:00 and we went straight to the meeting room place for the orientation. After that we were given our room keys and so we spent quite a bit of the afternoon in our rooms fixing our stuff. After a while, we went back to the meeting room place to listen to a talk by father Mon. He taught us an Italian song that apparently got stuck in everyone's head since a lot of people are still singing...

So after that we ate dinner, we played "Human Bingo" with the entire batch. It had some really hard boxes since for several of them, only two people applied. Some of the herder ones were "Someone you would spend your life with," "I love you," and "will you be my prom date?" because they are all basically THE SAME and we weren't allowed to make someone sign more than once. And since I actually took it seriously, I had a really hard time, since I'm really not the kind of guy who opens up to many people.

After Human Bingo, we played a giant board game with human pieces. Yay. It was the usual get-to-the-end-first type board games, but the challenges at each square were fun. Some challenges were "Dance-off against random teacher," "Reenact Surpanakha scene," and "Slowdance with random teacher."

"Lights out" was supposedly at 10:00 but people were still out and about hanging out with friends and enjoying the cold, fresh air of Tagaytay at 12:00. Me and my friends were some of those people. I ended up sleeping at 1:00 since Me, James, Kiefer and King still stayed up talking in the room. And then James and Kiefer just kept playing Rock, Paper, Scissors until wegot bored and decided to sleep.

I will edit this post later on with info on the following days.

The Dungeons and Dragons Class Test

Got another test from Mickey. I actually already took this test several months ago and got Arcane Trickster, but I guess I've changed in that time. *ahemahemnotreligiousanymoreahem*

Anyway, I am a...

Bard

59% Combativeness, 60% Sneakiness, 56% Intellect, 47% Spirituality
Bard
Dashing and multi-talented: You are a Bard!
A decent warriors, reasonable spell-caster, and fairly good at tricking people, the Bard is the jack of all trades. These charming fellows live by their wits, though a sharp blade, a few spells, and some lockpicks never hurt.
Smart, sneaky, and aggressive, you're probably good at most things you try. You don't have much need for spirituality or superstition and are much more likely to live in the here and now... and if you can get some fun and profit out of the here and now, even better.
~   *   ~   *   ~
LOL. 60% Sneakiness. Guess that means something...

I've been posting nothing but personality tests... Aaaanyway, for those who actually care, Dead Princess Duet might be uploaded soon, if I can get past my super-writer's block

If I Were a Tarot Card...

Another personality test from Mickey...

If I were a Tarot card, I would be...

The Chariot
 The Chariot
It is somewhat of a mystery why the Chariot, clearly a card of force and of control, should be of the Water element. But its attribution to Cancer is indeed valid because this card deals heavily with the emotions. Specifically, the Chariot is a card of emotional control; the power of the mind to shape the desires of the heart and direct them to meaningful expression. This is not the emotional control of the Emperor, who totally supresses all of his emotions in favor of logic and reason. The man driving the Chariot knows that his emotions are not to be swept under the rug, but trained and used to his greater good.

The triumph over both positive and negative emotions is often shown by two horses or sphinxes of different colors pulling the Chariot. Though on their own they would run wild and untamed, going in whichever direction they chose to go, here they move only forward. So they still have some power, but this power has now been directed and focused by the man holding the reins. The chariot cannot move without horses to pull it, just as we cannot function without our emotions to drive us. But without the control of the chariot, the horses would run free, just as our emotions can run wild when unchecked and uncontrolled. Balance is needed.

The Chariot embodies the type of discipline that is necessary to gain control over the emotions, and this is why a military symbol has been chosen for this card. The purpose of the harsh conditions of the military is to develop the will and the ability needed to control emotions and put them to productive use on the battlefield. Only through the mastery of yourself can you ever hope to achieve mastery over others and your environment. The wisdom and the glory gained through conquering one's enemies is nothing compared to the self-esteem you build through defeating your fear. Inner enemies are often tougher to defeat than outer ones, and thus teach you much more.

Through the application of emotional force we can learn to achieve our goals and desires much more quickly. For someone like the man on the Chariot, who is in total control of his will and his emotions, almost anything is within his grasp. In the Thoth deck, written across the canopy of the Chariot is the word Abracadabra, which may seem foolish at first glance. What is the stage magician's catchphrase doing here - is there magic involved? No, there is no magic. Abracadabra comes from Hebrew, and it translates roughly to "What I have said will be done" or "As it is said, so it shall be." Nothing embodies the spirit of the Chariot more than this word.

The appearance of the Chariot often shows a need to take control of your emotions and, instead of wasting energy grieving or complaining, use that energy to take action and to make changes in the world. Fear will cripple you unless, like the Chariot demands, you can acknowledge it and face it. Then you can use your fear constructively, for your own purposes. But this type of control is not limited to the negative emotions. In relationships the Chariot often shows how idle infatuation can be transformed into passion and confidence. Through controlling your emotions, the Chariot says, you will eventually learn to control yourself.

And once you have reached that stage, anything is possible! Once you have transcended your fears you start transcending your restrictions until nothing can hold you back from the success you deserve. The Chariot's appearance is often the herald of victory through discipline and confidence, a moment where all opposition lies defeated. Great success and achievements will come to you if you master your passions and believe in the power of your will. Do not let anything distract or sway you from your goals, and proceed with the straight flight of an arrow. Nothing is beyond your ability if you believe in your own power. Abracadabra!

The Color Quiz

Got another Personality test form Mickey. This one gets results depending on how much you like certain colors... It's pretty accurate for something that seems so random... Weird.

Trial 1 (Without waiting for the timer to hit zero):

Your Existing Situation
Works well in cooperation with others but is disinclined to take the leading role. Needs a personal life of mutual understanding and freedom from discord.

Your Stress Sources
Suppresses his innate enthusiasm and imaginative nature, for fear that he might be carried away by it only to find himself pursuing some will-o'-the-wisp. Feels he has been misled and abused and has withdrawn to hold himself cautiously aloof from others. Keeps a careful and critical watch to see whether motives towards him are sincere--a watchfulness which easily develops into suspicion and distrust.

Your Restrained Characteristics
Willing to participate and to allow himself to become involved, but tries to fend off conflict and disturbance in order to reduce tension.
Egocentric and therefore quick to take offense. Able to obtain physical satisfaction from sexual activity but tends to hold aloof emotionally.

Your Desired Objective
Wants to prove to himself and others that nothing can affect him, that he is superior to any form of weakness. As a result, he acts with harshness or severity and adopts an autocratic and self-willed attitude.

Your Actual Problem
Disappointment and the fear that there is no point in formulating fresh goals have led to anxiety. Desires recognition and position, but is worried about his prospects. Reacts to this by protecting at any criticism and resisting any attempt to influence him. Tries to assert himself by meticulous control of detail in an effort to strengthen his position.

Your Actual Problem #2

Works to strengthen his position and bolster his self-esteem by examining his own accomplishments (and those of others) with critical appraisal and scientific discrimination. Insists on having things clear-cut and unequivocal.

Trial 2 (Waited for the timer):

Your Existing Situation
Having difficulty making progress and unwilling to put forth further effort. Seeking more comfortable conditions where he can avoid anything disturbing.

Your Stress Sources

Feels that life has far more to offer and that there are still important things to be achieved--that life must be experienced to the fullest. As a result, he pursues his objectives with a fierce intensity that will not let go of things. Becomes deeply involved and runs the risk of being unable to view things with sufficient objectivity, or calmly enough; is therefore in danger of becoming agitated and of exhausting his nervous energy. Cannot leave things alone and feels he can only be at peace when he has finally reached his goal.

Your Restrained Characteristics
The situation is preventing him from establishing himself, but he feels he must make the best of things as they are.
Conditions are such that he will not let himself become intimately involved without making mental reservations.

Your Desired Objective
Seeks an affectionate relationship, offering fulfillment and happiness. Capable of powerful emotional enthusiasm. Helpful, and willing to adapt himself if necessary to realize the bond of affection he desires. Needs the same consideration and understanding from others.

Your Actual Problem
Needs to achieve a stable and peaceful condition, enabling him to free himself of the worry that he may be prevented from achieving all the things he wants.

Hmmm... I actually found this to be quite accurate in most parts, though not as accurate in the others... It's interesting how people can figure things out through your choice of colors...

One Final Stand, Chapter 0

Well, here's another story. I had a very bad case of writer's block for Dead Princess Duet, so I decided to write something else instead. This was actually supposed to be a one-chapter thing that I decided to write to vent out some emoness, but I found a way to connect it to the next long story I'll be writing, One Final Stand. Think of this as a teaser of some sort. Please comment if you can spare me five minutes.

This takes place a few years after Dead Princess Duet, if you guys are wondering. So, without further ado, I give you One Final Stand Chapter 0.

One Final Stand
Chapter 0

Screams pierced the sky as crowds of people scrambled with great haste towards the tunnels. The city was falling, and panic was in the hearts of all as fires blazed all around.

In the midst of the flowing sea of people, a single man went against the current, searching desperately, screaming one name over and over:

Alitranna.

*     *     *

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" She said to him in her sweet, melodic voice. They sat side by side in the starlight, on the rooftop of the city's eastern watchtower, her hand in his, marveling at the splendor of the city that lay before them. Before them was Hallowedwatch, known as the city of justice by all who came by, headquarters of the church of Tyr and a sanctuary for any who asked for refuge. One structure stood out from all the rest, for it was built in the very center of the city, on top of a tall hill. It was a monument to the God of Justice , a brightly glowing, gigantic representation of Tyr's holy symbol: balanced golden scales resting on top of a warhammer.

"Yes, it is," he replied, referring as much to the sight before them as to the woman sitting next to him.

They sat there, dwelling in that moment of tranquility for a long while, leaning back and watching the ever still stars twinkle in the sky as the numerous lights in the city began to disappear, one by one. She turned to face him, illuminated in the starlight, and broke the silence.

"Do you love me, Finiarel?" She asked, turning to face him, her silken black, shoulder-length hair swaying with the movement before being caught in the slight breeze.

"How could I not, Alitranna?" he replied, "How can I not, when it was you who gave my life meaning? Before I met you, I was but a lowly guard, doing my duty for no reason other than that it was expected of me, living every day exactly like the last. Who knows how much longer that endless cycle would have gone, without you in my life? You showed me something I could have never have hoped to see  on my own: You made me see what made life so special, you made me realize that life was more than just standing on the walls of  our city, looking out for intruders and waiting for the day to end. You gave me a reason to live. No man in his right mind would not love someone who granted him that gift of gifts."

He raised his hand to her face and gently stroked her hair. "Yes, I love you, Alitranna, more than anything I have ever loved, and probably more than anything I ever will. I love everything about you. Your eyes, your smile, your sweet voice that echoes in my ears even in my dreams."

He then lifted her hand to his mouth and kissed it, then, looking staring into her eyes, said "Alitranna Anterune, will you be my bride?"

*     *     *

The sky was darker now, for dark clouds formed  above the city and rain began to fall in torrents as lightning flashed in the distance. Finiarel kept running long after he had passed the last of the evacuees, and now he was running, cold and wet, through the rain, searching in vain for the one he loved.

He ran on, through the long and winding roads that had once been so filled with people, so filled with joy, laughter and merriment, but now was as empty and desolate as a long forgotten ruin, filled only with the rubble of the closest building. His feet began to tire, but he forced himself to move on, not allowing himself to stop until he found her.

Breathing became harder and harder, his clothes became heavier as water weighed them down, and the cold rain numbed his muscles, but he kept going, knowing that he was nearing his destination. He went around a bend in the road, and he stopped in his tracks.

Before him was Anterune manor, or at least what was left of it. The magnificent gates made of the finest steel lay on the ground, twisted and broken, and the walls that had protected the manor were now nothing but piles of rubble.

He hesitated at the gates, fearing what he might find if he went inside, but something made him move forward, something made him take those few tentative steps past the ruined gates of his love's home. He wanted nothing more than to be with her, and somehow, he knew that he would find her there, whether she was dead or alive.

He walked silently in the courtyard, hearing only the sound of the raindrops and the light splash as he took every step, looking around, seeking her. For a while, he didn't think that he could find her in the large estate, then he saw it- an unmoving figure lying on the ground in front of the fountain. It was hard to tell from his distance, but he could tell that the figure had black, shoulder-length hair. He recognized her in an instant.

He ran once more, tripping as his foot hit a loose stone on the path. His ankle twisted painfully, but he had to keep going, he had to reach her. He grabbed the ground in front of him with his hands and pulled with the remaining strength he could muster, moving him forward. He dragged himself, slowly but surely, towards the figure lying on the ground.

After what seemed like an eternity, he finally made it to her. He sat up and held her hand, calling her name.

"Alitranna, I am here."

She didn't reply, didn't move. He called to her again, louder this time, hoping that the sound of the rain had drowned his voice, wishing that he could once again see her open her eyes, so full of life.

"Alitranna, I'm here, just like I promised." He said once again to her, and once again she did not reply. He sat there, next to the corpse of the woman he loved, and wept. From his lips escaped a cry of pain and sorrow, of tragedy and irony, from the very depths of his soul.

*     *     *

"Alitranna Anterune, will you be my bride?" He asked her in the moonlight, only a night before the calamity.

She looked at him with her deep brown eyes and a smile appeared on her face as the soft breeze made her hair flutter. She answered him:

"Of course, my love."
